Do you take insurance?
Yes, I take most insurance. I will gladly bill your insurance, but ultimately, it is your responsibility for payment. I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, and checks for your convenience.
What is an RDHAP?
An RDHAP is a hygienist who may perform allowable services like cleanings, sealants, fluoride, and whitening for patients. However, 18 months after the initial visit, the patient must have a written letter from a Dentist, Physician, or Surgeon to continue treatment with the RDHAP.
What if I don’t have a dentist?
Not to worry! I have 28 years of dental experience and know most dentists in Lake, Mendocino, and Sonoma counties. I will gladly refer you to an office that will take great care of you.
Do you do dental exams too?
I perform dental evaluations as a second set of eyes for your dentist. With specialized training, I can distinguish between healthy tooth structure and signs of decay. If I notice a questionable area, I’ll refer you to your dentist or one of my trusted dental partners for a thorough examination and diagnosis. I also take X-rays when needed—either if you’re due or if I detect something that requires a closer look.
Do you numb my teeth?
No Needles! We offer “numbing” gel to make you comfortable during your cleanings.
Do you treat children?
Yes, we see children of all ages. We offer oral hygiene instructions and nutritional counseling for the child and the guardians. I also provide “happy visits” in which the child sits in the chair with the parent and pretends to clean the parent’s teeth. This allows them to feel more comfortable during their actual visit.
